  • Temporary Parking Restrictions – Market Place (from Market Street), 7th–8th April

    Temporary parking restrictions will be in place on Market Place, Bingham (from its junction with Market Street extending approximately 90 metres east) from 9:30am on Tuesday 7th April until 3:00pm on Wednesday 8th April. The restrictions will prohibit waiting, loading and unloading while trial hole works are carried out. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – The Banks (at its junction with Tithby Road), Wednesday 18th March

    Temporary three-way traffic signals will be in operation on The Banks, Bingham (at its junction with Tithby Road) between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Wednesday 18th March.

  • Toot Hill Redevelopment Public Exhibition – 23rd March

    Bowmer + Kirkland are holding a public exhibition to review the plans for the redevelopment of Toot Hill School. The exhibition will be held on Monday the 23rd of March, from 5pm until 8pm, in the Toot Hill Concert Hall. More information is in the documents below.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Chapel Lane, Bingham (Ward Road to Dunsmore Avenue), 9th to 10th April 2026 (UPDATED)

    UPDATED: Work is now expected to end 10th April 2026

    Temporary traffic signals will be in operation on Chapel Lane, Bingham, from its junction with Ward Road to its junction with Dunsmore Avenue, from 8:00 AM on Monday, 9th March until 5:30 PM on Friday, 10th April 2026.

    There will be three-way signals at the junctions with Burrows Drive and Dunsmore Avenue, with two-way signals between these junctions, operating 24 hours a day.

    These works are being carried out by Severn Trent Water to install a new water main.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Grantham Road (Junction with Long Acre East & Forest Lane), 6th to 9th March 2026

    Temporary three-way traffic signals will be in operation on Grantham Road, Bingham, at its junction with Long Acre East and Forest Lane, from 9:30 AM on Friday, 6th March until 2:30 PM on Monday, 9th March 2026. The signals will be in use daily between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM, with the highway clear at all other times. TUSC will also be in use on Forest Lane.

    These works are being carried out by Via to undertake carriageway repairs.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Long Acre, Bingham, 3rd to 4th March 2026

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation on Long Acre, Bingham, outside the Bingham Bowls and Social Club, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, 3rd March and Wednesday, 4th March 2026. At all other times, the highway will remain clear.

    These works are being carried out by Via to undertake carriageway repairs.

  • Temporary Lane Closure – Fosse Way, Bingham (Margidunum Roundabout), 9th to 10th March 2026

    A temporary lane closure will be in place on Fosse Way, Bingham, at the Margidunum Roundabout, from 9:30 AM on Monday, 9th March until 3:30 PM on Tuesday, 10th March 2026. The lane closure will be in effect daily between 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM.

    These works are being carried out by Via to undertake jetting and cleaning of gullies and chambers.
