  • Criminal Damage – Butt Field

    The Town Council have been alerted to an incident at Butt Field Sports Ground and the criminal damage to a well-established Chestnut tree.

    Butt Field is a well-maintained site enjoyed by the community, and as a result of the vandalism, the tree will need to be felled for public safety.

    The Town Council are working to assist the Police with their investigations including available CCTV. Residents with any information are urged to report it to Nottinghamshire Police on 101, referencing the incident number 0547_14062026.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Nottingham Road (near Mallow Way), 15th–16th June

    Monday, 15th of June 2026 to Tuesday, 16th of June 2026

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation on Nottingham Road, Bingham (approximately 65 metres east of its junction with Mallow Way) between 9:30am and 3:30pm from Monday 15th June to Tuesday 16th June. The signals are required while carriageway repairs are carried out. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Fairfield Street (near School Lane), 8th–9th June

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation on Fairfield Street, Bingham (approximately 20 metres south of its junction with School Lane) between 9:30am and 2:30pm from Monday 8th June to Tuesday 9th June.   • Temporary Road Closures – Bingham Summer Fair, 13th June

    Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place in Bingham town centre between 7:30am and 4:30pm on Saturday 13th June for the Bingham Summer Fair. The affected roads include Market Place, Market Street, Station Street and part of Long Acre. Please see the attached document for full details of the closures and restrictions.
