  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Long Acre, Bingham, 14th to 15th October 2025

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on Long Acre, Bingham, between its junctions with The Paddock and Market Street, from Tuesday, 14th October to Wednesday, 15th October 2025. The signals will be in operation 24 hours a day and will be manually controlled during peak times (7:00–9:30 AM and 3:30–7:00 PM). These measures are necessary for Severn Trent Water to carry out a hydrant repair. For further details, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Road Closure – Willow Road, Bingham, 5th November 2025 to 16th January 2026 (UPDATED 11 November 2025)

    A temporary one-way road closure will be in place on Willow Road, Bingham, from its westbound junction with Grantham Road to its eastbound junction with Grantham Road. The closure will be in effect from 8:00 AM on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 until 5:00 PM on Friday, 16th January 2026.

    This restriction is required for Severn Trent Water to carry out water main renewal and connection works. An alternative route will be signed via Grantham Road. For further details, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Road Closure – Grantham Road, Bingham, 26th to 27th September 2025

    A temporary road closure and parking suspension will be in effect on Grantham Road, Bingham, from its junction with the A52 Bingham Bypass for a distance of 200 metres in a westerly direction. The restriction will be in place from 8:00 PM on Friday, 26th September until 5:00 AM on Saturday, 27th September 2025. These measures are required for carriageway repair works being carried out by Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. No diversion routes are available during this closure.   • Temporary Road Closure – Mill Hill Road, Bingham, 1st October 2025

    A temporary road closure will be in effect on Mill Hill Road, Bingham, from its junction with Frome Gardens to its junction with Charlock Gardens, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 1st October 2025. The closure is required to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out manhole cover repair works.

    Diversion route: Tithby Road – Nottingham Road and vice versa.

  • Temporary Road Closure – Newgate Street, Bingham, 28th October 2025

    A temporary road closure and parking suspension will be in effect on Newgate Street, Bingham, from its junction with Gillotts Close to its junction with Moor Lane, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM on Tuesday, 28th October 2025. These restrictions are necessary for Severn Trent Water to repair and replace defective manhole frames and covers.

    The diversion will be via Fairfield Street – Long Acre – Cherry Street – Church Street – Market Place. Please follow diversion signage and plan your journey accordingly. For further details, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Footpath Closure – Moor Lane Foot Crossing, Bingham, 13th to 14th October 2025

    A temporary footpath closure will be in place at Moor Lane Foot Crossing, Bingham, from a point 100 metres north of its junction with Newgate for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction. The closure will be in effect from 10:30 PM on Monday, 13th October 2025 until 5:35 AM on Tuesday, 14th October 2025. This closure is necessary to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out tamping works.   • Temporary Lane Closures – Nottingham Road & Fosse Way, Bingham, 15th to 27th September 2025

    Temporary left lane closures will be in effect on both Nottingham Road and Fosse Way, Bingham, approaching the Saxondale Roundabout, from Monday, 15th September until Saturday, 27th September 2025. The works will take place overnight between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. These restrictions are necessary for National Highways to carry out maintenance works on the A52, including grass cutting, barrier checks and re-tensioning, drainage maintenance, and sign cleaning.     A temporary footpath closure will be in place at the Cogley Lane Foot Crossing, Bingham, from a point 100 metres north of its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction. The closure will be in effect from 10:30 PM on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 until 5:35 AM on Thursday, 4th September 2025. The closure is required for tamping works being carried out by Network Rail. Please note that no alternative pedestrian route is available during this time.
