Roadworks and Traffic Restrictions

The following roads will be closed from 7:00pm on Friday the 26th of October until 7:00pm on Sunday the 28th of October due to maintenance works:

• Tithby Road, Tithby, from its junction with A52 Bingham Bypass, Bingham to its junction with Bingham Road, Wiverton, Tithby.
• Bingham Road, Wiverton, Tithby, from its junction with Tithby Road, Tithby to its junction with Bingham Road, Langar.
• Bingham Road, Langar, from its junction with Bingham Road, Wiverton, Tithby to its junction with Musters Road, Langar.
• Musters Road, Langar, from its junction with Bingham Road, Langar to its junction with Cropwell Road, Langar.

The A52 will be closed Westbound and Eastbound between Barrowby and Sedgebrook overnight (8pm-6am) from the 24th through the 26th of September. Please see the attached bulletin for more information.

As part of essential maintenance works, parts of the A52 and A1 will be closed overnight for resurfacing:

• The A52 (westbound and eastbound) will be closed between Barrowby & Sedgebrook on the 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th of September, 8pm-6am
• A1/A52 Barrowby Junction southbound slip road closed on the 12th of September, 8pm-6am
• The A1 northbound will be closed between A52 Barrowby and A46 Newark from the 17th to the 21st of September, 8pm-6am

There will be a 30mph speed restriction on Chapel Lane from the 1st of October to the 20th of December. Please see the attached document for further information.

There will be temporary 2-way traffic signals on Chapel Lane from the 16th of September to the 20th of December. Please see the attached document for further information.

Please note that a previous version of this news item incorrectly stated that the roadworks would end on the 20th of September. We apologise for the error.

Chapel Lane, from its junction with Margidvnvm Roundabout to its junction with Moorbridge Road, will be closed between the 27th of October and the 4th of November. Please see the attached document for further information, including a map.

The roadworks on Chapel Lane (from the Margidvnvm roundabout to Moorbridge Road) have been extended until the 17th of September. Please see the attached document for further information.

The A52 and A1 are being resurfaced between the 3rd and the 21st of September, requiring overnight road closures. Please see that attached document for further information.

The traffic signals at the Nottingham Road/Fairfield Street/Tithby Road junction are being refurbished between the 10th of September and the 14th of October. During this time, there will be temporary 4-way traffic signals and lane restrictions (limited to off-peak hours when possible). Please see the attached document for more information.

UPDATED 11/10/2018: Roadworks are now estimated to continue until the 14th of October.

There will be parking restrictions and temporary 3-way traffic lights on Market Street between Monday the 17th and Wednesday 19th of September to allow for a new water connection. Please see the attached documents for further information.
