Roadworks and Traffic Restrictions

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Chapel Lane, Bingham, 13th to 15th August

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation on Chapel Lane, Bingham, just south of the roundabout to Dunsmore Avenue, continuously from Tuesday, 13th August 2024 until Thursday, 15th August 2024. These measures are necessary for Severn Trent Water to install a new hydrant. For more information, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Willow Road, Bingham (Junction with Grantham Road), 26th August to 6th September

    Temporary multi-way traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day at the junction of Willow Road and Grantham Road, Bingham, from Monday, 26th August 2024 until Friday, 6th September 2024. These signals are necessary to facilitate Cadent’s gas mains replacement works. For further details, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Chapel Lane, Bingham, 30th July

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on Chapel Lane, Bingham, approximately 100 meters south of Moorbridge Road, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Tuesday, 30th July 2024. These signals will be manually controlled throughout the works to facilitate the installation of a new BT pole. For more information, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Chapel Lane, Bingham, 23rd to 25th July

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be operational on Chapel Lane, Bingham, approximately 100 meters south of its junction with Burrows Drive, continuously from Tuesday, 23rd July 2024 to Thursday, 25th July 2024. These measures are necessary for Severn Trent Water to undertake a hydrant renewal. For more details, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Signals – B692 Fosse Way, Bingham, 15th to 16th July

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on B692 Fosse Way, Bingham, approximately 470 meters south of its junction with Dunsmore Avenue, continuously from Monday, 15th July 2024 to Tuesday, 16th July 2024. These signals are necessary for conducting trial holes. For more information, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Fosse Way (200m SW from Saxondale Roundabout), 6th to 7th of July

    Multi-way temporary traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day on B692 Fosse Way, Bingham, spanning approximately 200 meters in a southwesterly direction from the Saxondale Roundabout, from Saturday the 6th of July until Sunday the 7th of July. This is to facilitate Connexin performing duct testing along the carriageway verge. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Fairfield Street (at its Junction with Long Acre), 2nd to 4th of July

    Multi-way temporary traffic signals, manually controlled during peak times to optimize traffic flows, will be in operation 24 hours a day on Fairfield Street, Bingham (at its Junction with Long Acre) from Tuesday the 2nd of July until Thursday the 4th of July. This is to facilitate Connexin using Openreach chambers for testing. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Kirk Hill (at its Junction with Newgate Street), 22nd to 24th of June

    Multi-way temporary traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day on Kirk Hill, Bingham (at its Junction with Newgate Street) from Saturday the 22nd of June to Monday the 24th of June. This is due to National Grid Electricity Distribution performing a joint hole in the tarmac footway for a link box replacement. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – B692 Fosse Way (Approx. 500m NE of its junction with the A52), 24th to 25th of June

    Two-way temporary traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day on B692 Fosse Way, Bingham, approximately 500 meters northeast of its junction with the A52, from Monday the 24th of June to Tuesday the 25th of June. This is to facilitate a bridge inspection by Network Rail. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Prohibitions and Traffic Adjustments – Bingham, 8th of June

    Due to the Bingham Summer Fair, the following temporary traffic regulations will be in effect on Saturday, 8th of June from 8:00am to 4:30pm:

    • Temporary Prohibition of Driving: Market Place (between Market Street and Station Street; and between Market Street and Church Street), and Market Street (between Union Street and Newgate Street).
    • Temporary Prohibition of Waiting: Long Acre (south side, at any time) between Walkers Close and Cherry Street.
    • Suspension of One-Way: Market Place between Church Street and Station Street.
