  • Temporary Traffic Signals – Tithby Road, Bingham, 22nd to 26th May 2025

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in place on Tithby Road, Tithby, directly outside Whitefields Farm, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, starting Thursday, 22nd May until Monday, 26th May 2025. These measures are necessary for reactive maintenance works being carried out by Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council.   • Temporary Road Closure – Meadowsweet Hill, Bingham, 19th May 2025

    A temporary road closure will be in place on Meadowsweet Hill, Bingham, from its junction with Betony Close to its junction with Campion Way, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Monday, 19th May 2025. The closure is required for Severn Trent Water to carry out repairs to a defective manhole frame and cover. An alternative route will be available via Mallow Way and Nottingham Road.   • Temporary Traffic Signals – Tithby Road, Bingham, 28th to 30th April 2025

    Temporary three-way traffic signals will be in operation on Tithby Road, Bingham, at the junction with Mill Hill Road, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily, starting Monday, 28th April 2025 until Wednesday, 30th April 2025. These works are being carried out on behalf of BT to clear a blockage and access underground boxes. Please expect potential delays and allow extra time for your journey.   • Temporary Traffic Signals – Fairfield Street, Bingham, 7th to 23rd April 2025

    Temporary four-way traffic signals will be in operation at the junction of Fairfield Street and Newgate Street, Bingham, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, starting Monday, 7th April 2025 until Wednesday, 23rd April 2025. These measures are necessary to facilitate gas mains replacement works conducted by Cadent Gas. Motorists should anticipate potential delays and plan their journeys accordingly during these times.   • Temporary Road Closure – Kirk Hill, Bingham, 13th April 2025

    A temporary road closure will be in effect on Kirk Hill, Bingham, from 23:30 hours on Sunday, 13th April 2025 to 05:00 hours on Monday, 14th April 2025. The closure area extends from 20 metres south of the southerly level crossing barrier to 20 metres north of the northerly level crossing barrier. This closure is necessary for Network Rail to conduct the annual level crossing test. The recommended diversion route during this closure will be via Kirk Hill, Nottingham Road, B692, and Chapel Lane.

  • Temporary Road Closures – Kirk Hill & Newgate Street, Bingham, March-April 2025

    Temporary road closures will be in effect for gas mains replacement works carried out by Cadent Gas at two locations in Bingham:

    1. Kirk Hill: From its junction with Carnarvon Place southwards for 40 meters, from 08:00 on Monday, 31st March until 16:00 on Monday, 14th April 2025.

    2. Newgate Street: From its junction with Kirk Hill to its junction with Green Lane, from 08:00 on Monday, 7th April until 16:00 on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025.

    Diversion Routes:

    • For Kirk Hill: Traffic will be diverted via Chapel Lane, A46, A52, and Nottingham Road.
    • For Newgate Street: Traffic will be rerouted via Market Street, Church Street, Longacre, and Fairfield Street.

  • Lane Closure – Nottingham Road, Bingham, 17th to 18th February 2025

  • Temporary Parking Restrictions – Long Acre, Bingham, 3rd to 7th February 2025

    Temporary parking restrictions will be in place on Long Acre, Bingham, from its junction with Needham Street to its junction with Market Street, from 9:00 AM on Monday, 3rd February 2025 until 3:30 PM on Friday, 7th February 2025. These restrictions are necessary to facilitate the installation of a new bus stop by Via East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council. Please note that no alternative routes are necessary as the road will remain open to traffic, but parking will be restricted in the work area during this period. Motorists are advised to look for alternative parking options and be mindful of the temporary traffic management measures
