CANCELLED – VE Day 75th Anniversary Celebration, Friday 8th May
This event has been cancelled. Once we’re the other side of Covid-19, the Town Council will be working in conjunction with its partners in the community to potentially transfer the VE Day Celebration to another day and/or to plan a wider community event.Bingham Community Events in conjunction with The Royal British Legion and Bingham Heritage Trails Association will be hosting a community celebration of VE Day on Friday 8th May. The event will be held on the market square and will start with a period of remembrance then will feature a number of fun events and live music throughout the day.

Temporary traffic signals and road closures due to essential work on the A52
Essential maintenance work is currently being carried out on the A52, between Gamston Roundabout and Wheatcroft Roundabout, with further work beginning on the 29th of January. All work is being performed overnight (8pm to 6am) and temporary traffic signals will be in place. Approximately eight full overnight road closures will be required, split between the start of the new work on the 29th, and the end of the work, estimated to be around the 24th of March.
