  • Free Summer Sports Holiday Clubs for Children at Bingham Leisure Centre

    Thanks to National Lottery Funding, Bingham Town Council are pleased to be working with Finding Fitness to offer a FREE Summer Sports Club for children aged 5 to 13 who are Bingham Residents.

  • Road closures and restrictions for the Bingham Summer Fair

    Restrictions will be in place on the 11th of June for the Bingham Summer Fair:

    • Temporary prohibition of driving

      Market Place – between its junctions with Market Street and Station Street.
      Market Place – between its junctions with Market Street and Church Street.
      Market Street – between its junctions with Union Street and Newgate Street.

    • Temporary prohibition of waiting

      Long Acre – (south side, at any time) between its junctions with Walkers Close and Cherry Street.

    • Suspension of one-way

      Market Place – between its junctions with Church Street and Station Street.

  • Barratt David Wilson Homes presentation on proposals for Parsons Hill

    Barratt David Wilson Homes North Midlands attended the Old Court House on 5 May 2022 to host a Public Consultation Event where landscape and habitat creation proposals for Parsons Hill were on display.

    If you were unable to attend the event, click here for a copy of the presentation boards. Comments on the proposals can still be submitted by emailing . All comments received will be reviewed and considered by the Development Team prior to the submission of a formal application to Rushcliffe Borough Council. The deadline for comments to be made by is 5pm on Thursday 19th May 2022.

    Barratt David Wilson Homes North Midlands:

    Barratt David Wilson Homes North Midlands invites you to a Public Consultation Event where landscape and habitat creation proposals for Parsons Hill (outlined in red [in the attached PDF]) will be on display. Members of the Development Team will be on hand at the event to listen to your views and answer any questions that you might have on the proposals.

    On: Thursday 5th May 2022 between 2pm and 5pm

    If you are unable to attend a copy of the presentation boards will be available to view on the Bingham Town Council’s website following the event. Comments on the proposals can be submitted either in writing at the event or by emailing . All comments received will be reviewed and considered by the Development Team prior to the submission of a formal application to Rushcliffe Borough Council.   • Bingham Market Place – Signing Works for Speed limit and One Way

    Bingham Town Council have been updated that the work in Bingham Market Place to add permanent signage for the one-way system and speed limit, are due to commence on Monday 25 April 2022.

    There may be some localised footway closures to enable the installation of the new signing and work will not take on Thursday due to the market. The laying of the new lines and buff coloured surfacing is expected to take place on Sunday morning to minimise disruption to local businesses.
