  • Temporary Road Closure – Dark Lane, Bingham, 17th of April

    A temporary road closure will be in effect on Dark Lane, Bingham, from its junction with Perry Grove to its junction with Long Acre East, between 9:30am and 3:30pm on Wednesday the 17th of April 2024. The closure is due to network pole tests carried out by Openreach. An alternative route will be available via Long Acre East – Grantham Road and vice versa.   • Shuttle Bus Operation during A52 Nighttime closures

    During the A52 Nighttime Closures a shuttle bus will start at Eastwood Road, Radcliffe On Trent (towards Bingham) and then serve all stops along the route as far as Cherry Street, then turn into Bingham Market Place. On the journey back to Radcliffe on Trent, the bus will serve all stops to Harlequin, then carry on along the A52, turning right into Cropwell Road and then right again at the bottom to the Eastwood Road stop. Customers will not need to pay on the shuttle bus, but will need to pay for their journey on the mainline.

  • Temporary Road Closure – Chapel Lane, Bingham, 24th

    Chapel Lane, Bingham, will be temporarily closed from the junction with Kirk Hill to 30 metres northward on Sunday, 24th March, from 08:00 to 15:00 on Monday, 25th March 2024. This is to allow for essential electrical equipment replacements by National Grid. An alternative route will be provided. For more details, refer to the accompanying PDF document.

  • Temporary Road Closure – Kirk Hill, Bingham (between Carnarvon Place and Green Lane), 3rd to 10th of March

    Kirk Hill in Bingham will be closed to traffic from 6:00pm on Sunday the 3rd of March until 4:00pm on Sunday the 10th of March, due to emergency repair works by Severn Trent Water. The closure affects the section between its junctions with Carnarvon Place and Green Lane. An alternative route will be available via Chapel Lane, Fosse Way, Nottingham Road, and Fairfield Street.   • Temporary Traffic Lights – Long Acre, Bingham (at its Junction with Cherry Street), 1st to 7th of March

    Temporary three-way traffic signals will be in operation on Long Acre, Bingham (at its Junction with Cherry Street) 24 hours a day from Friday, the 1st of March, to Thursday, the 7th of March. Please see the attached document for further information.

  • Temporary Prohibition of Driving – Kirk Hill, Bingham (Near Chapel Lane), 14th – 15th of April

    A temporary driving prohibition will be in effect on Kirk Hill, Bingham, approximately 20 metres either side of the level crossing barrier, from 11:30pm on Sunday, 14th of April 2024, until 5:00am on Monday, 15th of April 2024, to facilitate annual level crossing tests by Network Rail. An alternative route will be available via Fairfield Street, Nottingham Road, B692 Fosse Way, and Chapel Lane. For further information, please refer to the attached document.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Tithby Road, Tithby, 1st of March

    Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation on Tithby Road, Tithby (approximately 246m north from the junction with Bingham Road) for 24 hours on Friday the 1st of March, 2024. The implementation of these temporary traffic signals is due to essential roadworks. Motorists are advised to expect potential delays and plan their journeys accordingly.   • Temporary Traffic Signals – Chapel Lane, Bingham (Junction with Dunsmore Avenue), 26th of February to 15th of March

    Temporary three-way traffic signals will be operational on Chapel Lane, Bingham (at its Junction with Dunsmore Avenue) from Monday the 26th of February to Friday the 15th of March 2024, between 9:30am and 3:00pm. For further information, please see the attached document.

  • Essential Maintenance Works – A52 Gamston Roundabout to Cropwell Road, 11th – 29th March 2024

    Essential maintenance works, including resurfacing, drainage, and safety barrier enhancements, will take place on the A52 between Gamston Roundabout and Cropwell Road. These activities are scheduled for overnight hours from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, starting from the 11th of March 2024 until the 29th of March 2024. A full closure of the A52 in both directions will be enforced, with local access maintained between A46 and Cropwell Road, excluding Bassingfield Lane and Stragglethorpe road junctions.

  • Temporary Traffic Lights – Grantham Road (Junction with Dark Lane), 16th to 23rd of February

    Two-way temporary traffic signals will be in operation 24 hours a day on Grantham Road, Bingham (at its junction with Dark Lane) from Friday the 16th of February to Friday the 23rd of February 2024. The works involve a new connection and road crossing. For further information, please see the attached document.
