In response to the continuing expansion of Bingham as a town and a district hub, Bingham Town Council is seeking to strengthen its administrative team.
We are looking for people with a positive outlook, who are motivated, enthusiastic, community focused with a flexible approach, are able to work to deadlines, can work under their own initiative but most of all have a team mentality.
There are a number of skill & knowledge areas that are crucial to this particular recruitment cycle as they will enhance the Council’s delivery and community reach. We would be especially keen to receive applications from candidates that are able to demonstrate experience in a number of the following areas: social media in a work context; health and safety; on-line mapping; website; marketing; success in obtaining grant funding and minute taking, preferably in a Local Government environment.
We don’t believe we’re going to find one person with all of those skills which is why we are inviting applications from candidates who are interested in job-sharing. Working hours and arrangements will be discussed at interview but applicants should be aware that there may be evening hours once or twice a month.
If you would like an informal chat about the vacancies then please call the office – 01949 831445 and ask for Sharon Pyke, the Clerk or Jo Riddle, the Deputy Clerk.
