  • Bingham Town Council – Councillor Vacancy

Following the recent elections held on 04 May 2023, there was an uncontested election in all wards. One vacancy for a Councillor in the South East Ward is available for co-option.

Bingham Town Council is very active and is embarking on some exciting projects in the Town. The major projects include creating a long-term parking provision within Bingham Town Centre, new town CCTV, and the re-development of the Wynhill site to provide improved and increased community facilities.

Alongside these major projects, the Council owns and manages various sites within the Town, including the Cemetery and Linear Park nature reserve. The council also provides support to local community organisations and promotes Bingham’s sense of place through its grant aid scheme, events, floral displays, and Christmas lighting displays.

If you are interested in representing the views of your community and would like to be involved in making decisions about Bingham and its amenities, contact the Town Clerk in the first instance for details on how to apply.
