Two-way traffic signals are currently in operation on Market Street, Bingham, outside No. 13, for immediate works. These restrictions will be active 24 hours a day until Sunday the 17th of September. The purpose of these works is an urgent excavation in the highway to locate and repair an LV cable fault. These works are being carried out by National Grid Electricity Distribution. Temporary traffic signals, including four-way and two-way configurations, will be in operation on Nottingham Road, Bingham (at its Junction with Thoresby Road) 24 hours a day, starting from Monday the 11th of September until Wednesday the 29th of November. Only one set of signals will be used at any one time. These adjustments are due to a gas mains replacement project. Please see the attached document for further information.
Immediate works necessitate the use of multiway signals on Nottingham Road, Bingham (Outside No17, Junction with Brewsters Close) continuously for 24 hours starting from 24th of August and continuing until Tuesday the 29th of August. Temporary four-way traffic signals will be in operation on Chapel Lane, Bingham (at its Junction with Dunsmore Avenue) 24 hours a day from Monday the 14th to Friday the 25th of August. The signals will include temporary push button pedestrian crossings. These measures are necessary to allow for the excavation needed to enable utilities to make service connections. Temporary two-way traffic signals, to be manually controlled while in operation, will be installed on Nottingham Road, Bingham (between the junctions of Stanhope Way & Meadowsweet Hill) from Monday the 21st of August to Friday the 1st of September. The traffic signals will be in operation from 08:00am to 17:00pm each day. When no site operatives are on site, lights will be taken down to maintain traffic flow.
